Blades of Crossed Hearts is a action packed cartoon fighting game filled with angst and edge. With simple and accessible gameplay, the game holds untold depth in it's fast-paced dynamic gameplay. Choose from... uh... currently only 4 playable characters with unique blades and special abilities. Get ready to Pick Your Poison!

Characters

Cyanide

Cyanide is a spunky angsty girl who's soul is filled with rage and determination. With a heart of fire she's ready to slice any foe in her path with her trustee blade Ruby. Ruby is a big red anime blade that gives Cyanide the ability to teleport behind her opponent using the Special button.

Mercury

Mercury is a cold calculated and emotionless boy who's been broken by an even colder world. With nothing left to loose he doesn't care who he needs to strike down to seek his revenge. He wields a sharp and agile blade called Sapphire which allows him to strike horizontally with great range using the Special button

Universal Mechanics

Strike and Parry

Pressing the Attack button with attempt to strike your opponent with your blade. Be careful though, because failing this strike will leave you vulnerable for a second. Pressing the Parry button right before any attack will cause you to negate all damage and give you the opportunity to land a counter attack.

Critical Hits

The first hit of every game, and every 10 hits after will do double damage. So make sure to plan ahead and scuffle for those hits or you might be on the receiving end.

Triple Jump

You may jump up to two times in the air before having to touch the ground. This allows complex air-mobility and tactics to play out in real time.
